Jennie Stumpf Obituary

Jennie A. Stumpf, 93, of Latrobe, died Friday, July 28, 2006, in the Greensburg Nursing Center. Born Nov. 27, 1912, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Gallo) Accorsi. She was a member of Holy Family Church and its Rosary Society. She had worked as a secretary for a number of local businesses in the Latrobe area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Francis A. Stumpf; three brothers, Joseph, Louis and Frank Accorsi; and three sisters, Marie C. Accorsi, Minerva Murphy and Carm Cicio. She is survived by a son, Timothy J. Stumpf and his wife, Rae, of New York; a daughter-in-law, Ahna Stumpf, of Virginia; two sisters, Mafalda Gallagher, of Maryland, and Nina Trauger and her husband, Charles, of Greensburg; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five nieces; and five nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Church, Latrobe. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. The Holy Family Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
