1962 - 2015

Joel Keith "Tad" White, 52, of Indian Head, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. He was born Dec. 9, 1962, in Somerset, a son of the late Paul "Frog" and Nancy E. Snyder White. Tad was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1980. He then received his degree in accounting from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa., in 1984. Tad had been working as a glass glazier for Fox Glass Co. in Uniontown. He was a member of County Line Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Fairview Aid Society in Connellsville. Tad loved bowling and was a member of the Mountain Bowling League and the Merchant Ten Pin Bowling League. Tad is survived by his children, Jill Elaine White and boyfriend, Josh Bussiere, of Chicago, Ill., and Keith Robert White, of Jones Mills; his longtime girlfriend, Laura L. Philburn, of Connellsville; his brothers, Jeff White and wife, Elaine, of Melcroft, and David White and wife, Jennifer, of Butler; his sister, Laura Cramer and husband, Jerry, of Indian Head, his sister-in-law, Vicki White, of Melcroft; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Tad was predeceased by his brother, Gregory S. White; his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Nellie White; and his maternal grandparents, Braden and Daisy Snyder.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday in the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., at the corner of Route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Road, Melcroft, 724-455-2310, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with Pastor Barry Conn officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Eutsey Cemetery, White.
