Mr. and Mrs Purdue,
We only met you and Joe a couple of times at Bob/Jens but have followed his journey thru your online updates. We do know how much Joe was loved by Nick and have seen pictures of his visits with him. I can only say what I told Nick and that was to know that he is out of pain and with Jesus now will hopefully ease your grief thru time. God bless you and your family.
With our sincerest condolences,
Bob and Betsy Lunden

I did not know Joseph---but I read his story (and yours). Praying for his soul, and especially for the entire family in this fiery trial and in the great void that comes after his passing on to the Triumphant Church in Paradise.
I lost my brother to a 'benign' ganglioma on the brain stem- Ray was 22 years old and I was just graduating high school.
My sympathies, my prayers and love to you all.

I watched the video of the young man singing his song to your son. It melted my heart, you could feel the love. I hope you all find the strength, love and support you will need. I´m a person that happened to see the video and it´s hurts me deep inside. I can only imagine the pain. I am so sorry may God hold you all in the palm of his hand.

I´m very sorry for your loss! You guys don´t know me, but I´ve been reading up on Joe´s story, and all I can say is that he is a true inspiration. My name is MJ, and I am a 2022 graduate of Cornell High School, and I attend IUP.
Hearing what Joe went through, and him still finding the strength to smile, and leave it all to god is something only the strong can do. I will continue to put you all in my prayers, and if you all need anything, I´m here. May God bless you all and wrap you with his love and comfort!
