Judith Wolford Obituary

Judith D. Wolford, 84, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Oct. 14, 2025. Born on March 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Atkins. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard A. Wolford; and her nephew, Dr. Jan Eric Esway. She is survived by her three loving children, Doug Hoffman (Kathy), Marsha Sebastian (Andrew), and Janet Hoffman (Yvonne). Judy was a proud grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren, three cherished great-grandchildren, and a loving sister to Penny L. Esway (Dr. Jan). She was a devoted aunt to her niece, nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephews and sister-in-law to Susan Wolford. Judy enjoyed a fulfilling 25-year career as a sales representative for Parkway and U.S. Food Service and was honored as top salesperson during her tenure an achievement she took great pride in. A woman of many interests, she loved her schnauzers dearly and found joy in gardening, bird watching, and cooking for those she loved. Judy also had a keen eye for estate sales and delighted in finding hidden treasures and special bargains. She was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church in Delmont, and lived her life with grace, kindness, and quiet strength. Funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., Monroeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Animal Rescue League, 6926 Hamilton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15208, in honor of Judy's love for animals. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Bridges Hospice for their compassionate care during Judy's final days. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. www.jobefuneralhome.com.
