Kathleen 'Kathy' Rose Stuckey. On Friday, Mar. 29, 2024, Kathy Stuckey passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 76. Kathy was born on Aug. 10, 1947, in St. Johnsbury, VT to Clifton and Marion (Hagan) Deoss. She grew up in St. Johnsbury and spent most of her life as a homemaker and retired as an accomplished truck driver. On Aug. 31, 1964, she married Chester Harrison Stuckey Sr. and together they raised six children. Few things brought Kathy more joy than spending the day surrounded by family and friends. If she wasn't rearranging the furniture in her house she was enjoying crafting, gambling, baking, fishing and camping with family and friends. Kathy was always on the go and full of energy up to her last day. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Stuckey Sr.; her father, Clifton; her mother, Marion; her sisters, Virgina (Rivera) and Mary Ellen Deoss; and her brothers, Charles, Clifton Jr. and Micheal Deoss. She is survived by her brother, John (Holly) Deoss; her sister, Ruth (David) Blake; her six children, Pamela (Richard) Pivik, Curt Stuckey, Chester (Leighann) Stuckey Jr., Susan Stuckey, Charles Stuckey, Amanda (Justin) Vegso; her eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Dean, Amber, Justin, Ariel, Rachel, Samantha, and Shawn; and her nine great-grandchildren, Evangelina, Amelia, Elizabeth, Brian, Hayden, Abel, Oliver, Maddox, and Hazel. Private services will be held per Kathy's request.
