Kevin G. Pohodich

1954 - 2023

Kevin G. Pohodich, 68, of Elizabeth, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly early Friday morning, Sept. 22, 2023, at his home. He was born Nov. 18, 1954, in McKeesport, the son of the late John and Anna Marie McMillan Pohodich. Kevin was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Elizabeth. He was a graduate of South Allegheny High School, Class of 1973. He also was a graduate of Penn State University, with two engineering degrees in electrical and mechanical. He retired from Bettis Atomic Plant with 32 years of service. Kevin was a loving and devoted husband, brother and a friend to those who knew him. Kevin is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him: his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Gloria Jean DiMatteo Pohodich, of Elizabeth, whom he married Aug. 11, 1979; his brothers, Dennis M. Pohodich, of Elizabeth, Ronald W. Pohodich, of Florida, and Donald Pohodich, of Ohio. In addition to his parents, John and Anna Marie McMillan Pohodich, Kevin was preceded in death by a brother, John Pohodich; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gilbert and Yolanda Celani DiMatteo. With careful thought and consideration and in accordance with his wishes, funeral services and burial will be private.
