Lewis C. Amicone II

Lewis C. Amicone II, 75, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Lewis and Anna (Iarussi) Amicone. Prior to his retirement, Lew was a salesman for Penn Lincoln Memorial Park and Striffler's Funeral Home. He was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, stationed on board the USS America (CV66) during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed going to car shows, swap meets, tinkering in his garage and target shooting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan J. Potter Amicone. He is survived by his sons, Lewis and his wife, Susie, and Eric (Derdra); grandchildren, Sean, Scott, Nathan, Lily, Emma, Deric and Samuel. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
