Lois J. Fuggenthaler

Lois J. (Bush) Fuggenthaler, 71, of Latrobe, passed away on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1945, in Forbes Road, she was a daughter of the late Henry G. and Eileen (Colonna) Bush. Lois was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe. She had been employed by the former Latrobe Area Hospital before retiring and embracing her passion for cooking. Along with her husband, they operated Fuggenthaler Catering. She enjoyed spending time with family, whether taking care of them at home or planning vacations together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Timothy Bush; sister, Shirley Long; and infant sister, Peggy Bush. Lois is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael A. Fuggenthaler, of Latrobe; daughters, Michele A. Schrock and her companion, Bobby Charettie, of Ligonier, Renee E. Gustafson and her husband, Thomas, of Lloydsville, Kimberly J. Wing and her husband, Anthony, of Ligonier, and Kelly L. Wallace and her husband, Richard, of Crabtree; grandchildren, Danielle Schrock, Courtney Schrock, Cory Gustafson and his wife, Julie, Zachary Gustafson and his fiancee, Kristen, Alexis Gustafson, Al Gustafson, Madison Wing, Morgan Wing, Army Spc. Devon Wing, and his wife, Taylor, Kaylee Wallace and Rachel Wallace; great-grandsons, Lucas and Liam Gustafson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, the Rev. Anthony Carbone as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.
