Marcy A. Felbaum

Marcy A. (Sleasman) Felbaum, 61, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at her home. Born April 6, 1964, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late John O. Sleasman and Mary Jane (Crowe) Sleasman. In her younger years growing up in Ligonier, she helped on the family farm and loved to spend time swimming. Throughout her career, Marcy was a longtime cook at several local restaurants, including "The Pond" in Latrobe. The outdoors was a cherished part of Marcy's life, whether it was camping or flower gardening, especially growing her sunflowers. Her strong personality was evident throughout her life, and she was always ready and willing to help others. Most of all, she loved her family and was a devoted mother. Her favorite moments were spent with her family, especially hosting holiday dinners and making sure everyone had enough to eat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vicki (Sleasman) Kuhns; her grandparents, Frank and Jane Crowe; and her beloved dog, Tank. Marcy is survived by her children, Bobbi Jo Harr (Justin) of Latrobe, Krystal A. Sleasman of New Florence, Mandy J. Hernandez (Rafael) of Latrobe, Joshua D. Onusko (Nicole) of Mt. Pleasant, and Isabelle Guiste and her daughter, Adalynn, of Latrobe; one brother, John W. Sleasman (Cindy), of Ligonier; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. There will be no public visitations. A celebration of Marcy's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe.
