Margaret S. "Sue" (Robinson) Tommasini, 90, of Derry Township, died on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Blairsville, a daughter of the late Kerr and Margaret (Doran) Robinson. Sue was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Derry. She enjoyed cooking and bingo, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Tommasini, in 2015; son, Anthony Tommasini; and two brothers, Jack and Tommy Robinson. Sue is survived by three children, Cynthia Bosnyak of Orange Park, FL, Margaret Skatell and Paul Caruso of Homer City, and Louis Tommasini of Latrobe; one sister, Leora Mull of York; half-brother, Anthony Greenawalt; three grandchildren, Anthony and wife Amanda, Jennifer, and Taryn; four great-grandchildren, Liam, Hayden, Axton, and Aylin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Sue's life celebration from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sep. 5, 2025, at MATTHEW X. MERLIN FUNERAL HOME INC., 529 N. Chestnut St., Derry, 724-694-8331. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Salvatore R. Lamendola as officiant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Derry.
