Mary Beth (Tonin) Jones, 73, of Claridge, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025. She was born on Feb. 29, 1952, in Irwin, to the late John Tonin and Bonnie (Couchenour) Detar. Mary retired as a postal carrier for the Irwin Post Office. She loved to bowl with her best friends, Liz and Bernice. Mary is survived by her beloved spouse of 34 years, Kenneth; four daughters, Johnna Beth (Maranda) Gulentz, Christina Grubb, Vikki (Todd) Henry, and Jennifer (the late Michael) More; four grandchildren, John (Danielle) Gulentz, Amanda (Bill) Torgerson, Steven McKlveen, and Reanna More; great-grandchildren, Edward and Ember Lilly Gulentz, and Michael James; two siblings, Sue Tonin and Terry Detar; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Tonin; mother, Bonnie Detar; stepfather, Lester Detar; infant son, Billy Grubb; grandson, Brian Lee; and two sisters, Cathy and Bonnie Tonin. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, and from 10 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City.
