Mary Lou Maddock

Mary Lou Maddock, 82, of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg. She was born Aug. 21, 1930, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Louis and Roseann Exton Forgie. Mary Lou was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church, North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leroy W. Maddock in 2004; and her brother-in-law, Gregg Ashcroft. She is survived by two sons, Wayne L. and his wife, Michelle, of North Huntingdon, and Scott W. and his wife, Pattie, of Irwin; one daughter, Sharon Hess and her husband, Jamie, of Irwin; one sister, Ruth Ann Ashcroft, of Penn Hills; grandchildren, Jeff Maddock (wife, Melissa), Jennifer Martin (husband, J.C.), Summer Steiner (husband, Jimmy), Mike Maddock, Alex and Victoria Hess; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Caleb Maddock. Friends were received last Thursday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral service was held last Friday in New Hope Presbyterian Church with Pastor Janet Reid officiating. Interment at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
