Dr. Nagu B. Krishnappa

1942 - 2023

Dr. Nagu B. Krishnappa, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was born July 19, 1942, in Mysore, India. He was the second of five children of the late N.G.Boriah and Sharadamma. He was the first member of his family to receive a higher education, graduating from Mysore Medical College, Class of 1966. Dr. Krishnappa left India to pursue his medical career in the United States in 1967. He practiced as a pediatric allergist in Irwin for nearly 40 years. Dr. Krishnappa believed in giving back to those less fortunate, running a charity for 39 years that supported social, educational and humanitarian services. An avid investor, golfer and traveler, with a keen wit and sense of humor, Dr. Krishnappa enjoyed his retirement years with family and friends, splitting time between Greensburg, Orlando and Bangalore, India. Nagu was the beloved husband of 52 years to Asha (Gowda) Krishnappa; loving dad of Harsha (Smita Basak) Krishnappa, and Sharada (Neel) Vibhakar; doting Thatha of Maya Vibhakar, Shyla Krishnappa, Milan Krishnappa, Dhilan Vibhakar and Talin Krishnappa; and dear brother of Vijaya, Padha and the late Boriah and Rukka. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed by his wide circle of friends and family. Arrangements made by BEINHAUERS.
