Nolan E. Young

Nolan Elliott Young, 39, formerly of Plum and Monroeville, died tragically Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, following an auto accident. Nolan was a fun-loving, family-oriented son, brother and friend. Those friends are too numerous to mention. Nolan returned his greatest gift as an organ donor. Our nephew wrote something that simply sums up Nolan: "Sweet, smart, caring, funny, sarcastic, loving, interesting, tough and cool. You were all of these and all of us who loved you were cheated by having so little time." Nolan was preceded in death by his brother, Ian. He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Jean DeSabato and Allen and Georgeann Young; sister, Heather (Chuck) Sneddon; brother, Seth (Donna) DeSabato; in addition to many cousins, who were as close as siblings. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC.
