Paul D. Squires Jr., 59, of Greensburg, formerly of Monessen and St. Mary's, GA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025. Born Feb. 27, 1966, son of the late Paul and Louise (Snyder) Squires, Paul was a 1984 graduate of Monessen High School and served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Tennessee (Kingsland, GA). Prior to his illness, Paul was employed by Jones Stone and Marble. Paul was a kind soul, always putting others' needs before his own. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Bella; listening to country music; spending time at the Oak Stump Retreat; and cooking. He loved traveling and was a member of the men's triathlon group Total Chaos, where he enjoyed riding bikes on the GAP and many different trails. He is survived by his loving wife, Allison (Milika) Squires; stepchildren, Kaitlin (Bradley) Kosko of Greensburg and Michael Thomas of Macungie; sons, Caleb Squires of St. Mary's, GA, and Jacob Squires of Athens, GA; brother, Craig (Jennifer) Squires; nine grandchildren, Liliana, Rachel, Emily, James, and Hailey Kosko of Greensburg, Casper, Kayley, and Skyler Squires of St. Mary's, GA, and Elias Hines of Athens, GA; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special thanks to the Mighty Tri Girls/Total Chaos triathlon team, friends, and family who provided housing, food, gift cards, caregiving, and transportation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd, Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at Grandview Cemetery of Monessen. The family would like to express their thanks to Bridge's Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
