Paula Blose Obituary

Paula Lee Blose, 57, of Lowber, passed away on Aug. 7, 2025, surrounded by her children and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Phyllis Blose of Lowber. She is survived by her son, Maj. Jedd Ferris, U.S. Army, his wife, Nikki, and their three boys, Jack, Ben, and Luke; her daughter, Brenna Ferris; sister Christine and her husband, John Kuczler; nieces Lilly Naser and Maya Kuczler; her aunt, Paulette, and uncle, Bill; cousins, Jeff, Megan and her daughter, Abby, Debbie, Micky and her son, David, and Patty and her kids, Amanda, Butch, Matt, and Joe; and many amazing friends whom she considered family. Paula was a force of nature with a vivacious presence. She returned to school later in life with a passion to make a difference in the lives she could touch through service coordination. She loved her family dearly, a good cup of coffee, wildflowers in May, the mountains of Sigel, cherry tomatoes, and her cats, Magnum, Dixie, Callie, and Maisy. She enjoyed talking anyone's ear off who would listen and road trips to see her grandbabies. When asked what her greatest accomplishment in life was, her answer was always her children, and she believed nothing she did in life could compare to the great gift of being their mom. The life she led, and the examples she gave of kindness and selflessness, are rarely seen in today's world. She was the proud carrier of many titles: Marmee, mom, GiGi, sister, Auntie Ick, daughter, and friend. We are not hosting traditional funeral services but are planning a celebration at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to a local food pantry or women's shelter of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to J. WILLIAM MCCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME, West Newton. Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.

Brenna, Jedd,Nikki, and family, you were her joy in every way. She was such a proud mom and Mimi. She was so thankful for y'all. Brenna, she was so proud of you in your strength and thankful for all you did for her. Jedd, she was so proud of your professional accomplishments and so very happy for you and Nikki with your 3 boys and home. I recall each time she found out about her 3 grandsons the squeal of delight she gave. She loved her cats too. Paula's genuine kindness and heart are marked on this earth forever. She was not only my treasured friend but my sister in Christ. She talked about fond memories of outdoors and hunting with her Dad. She was so proud of her family. My prayers and hugs go out to y'all. Always here for you too if you need an ear, or a air hug. I know Paula would take great joy in all of us showing kindness everyday to all and that if each of us would not judge others but accept others. Paula would take great joy in each of us having a personal relationship with Christ too. When we drink coffee ( some of us drinking tons daily) we should put a smile on our face knowing she's right there with us enjoying that cup and moment. Paula, loving you always my friend. I miss you terribly. Thank you for loving me and all you did for me.

We are so sorry for your loss. Paula was an amazing woman. She was a true friend. Very caring and kind. Although, we haven't talked in years cause of our demographic distance, I always considered her my friend.
Brenna and Jedd, I pray God will wrap his loving arms around you during this difficult time. She is rejoicing in heaven with Jesus!
