Rhoda M. Baldwin, 52, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Rhoda was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Revs. Samuel and Loretta (Withrow) Garstecki. Rhoda was a graduate of the Mt. Pleasant Area High School. She loved to sing, play the piano, read and sew. Surviving are her husband, Ted J. Baldwin Jr.; a son, Mark Bisher, of Everson; stepchildren, Ted J. Baldwin III, of Jeannette, and Pam Baldwin, of Delmont; brothers, Stanford Garstecki and wife, Mary Ann, of Greensburg, Phillip Garstecki and wife, Rosalie, of Scottdale, the Rev. Daniel Garstecki and wife, Kim, of Ruffsdale, and Paul Garstecki, of Youngwood; sisters, Elaine Zurick and husband, Bernard, of Greensburg, Sally Jane Broush, of United, Pamela Bush and husband, Glenn, of Latrobe, the Rev. Cheryl Barron, of Connellsville, Joyce Garstecki, of Scottdale, Elizabeth Garstecki, of Greensburg, Ruth Bayura and husband, Paul, of Scottdale, and Naomi Garstecki, of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Rhoda was preceded in death by a brother, William Garstecki, in 1983; and her stepmother, Ethel (King) Garstecki.
