Richard Glozer Obituary

Richard R. "Dick" Glozer, 79, of Murrysville, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born April 6, 1941, in Star Junction, Pa., son of the late Martin Sr. and Anna (Kimak) Glozer. Dick started his career at Mesta Machinery in Homestead and retired from Hyde Park Foundry and Machine Company in 1998. He was a proud Vietnam era Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara (Daw) Glozer; an infant son, Robert Martin Glozer; and a sister, Patricia Ann Frebraro. Surviving is his loving daughter and son in-law, Jennifer and Michael Muretisch, of Plum Borough; two cherished grandsons, Justin and Ryan Muretisch; lifelong friend, Kathleen Speirs; a brother, Martin Glozer Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Daniel (Lavonne) Daw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Due to the current pandemic crisis, a memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
