Robert J. Bilonick

1953 - 2017

Robert J. Bilonick, Esq., 63, of Ebensburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 9, 1953, in Westmoreland County, he was a son of the late Anthony R. and Doris M. (Osinkoski) Bilonick. Bob is survived by his sons, Nathan, of Ebensburg, and Tanner, married to the former Alexa Spicher, of Elton. He is also survived by a brother, Richard A. Bilonick and husband Edward Mattica, of Thornburg, Pa.; a sister, Karen, wife of Donald Stauffer, of Blairsville; as well as numerous nephews. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in archeology and a graduate of Temple Law School in 1980. He has been a member of the Cambria County Bar Association since 1980 and was a partner in the law firm of Pawloski, Bilonick and Long, in Ebensburg. Bob enjoyed the great outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter and sportsman. He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed attending games as a season ticket holder.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at ASKEW-HOUSER FUNERAL HOMES INC., 300 N. Julian St., Ebensburg, followed by a Celebration of Life party at Penn Gables Restaurant, beginning at 4 p.m.
