Ronnie Lee Brewer Sr., 77, of Hempfield Township, died suddenly Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023. Ronnie was born in Edna June 18, 1945, a son of the late Wayne and Evelyn (Schmidt) Brewer. He was a hard-working man who retired as a millwright after 40 years at U.S. Steel, Irvin Works. He loved the outdoors, his camp at Lazy Acres and riding Harleys, which he taught his sons to ride. Ronnie was a big family man who taught his sons how to be men and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Marion (Bohon) Brewer; loving father of Scott (Vicki) Brewer, Dave (Tiffany) Brewer and the late Ronnie Brewer Jr.; grandfather of Ashley (Paul) Herold and Lindsay Brewer; great-grandfather of Madeleine and Wyatt Herold and William Davis; and brother of Shirley (William) Belmont, Wayne (Sarah) Brewer, John (Roberta) Brewer, James (Dolores) Brewer, Donnie (Bernadine) Brewer, Sandra (Bruce) Fisher, Alvira (Michael) Jupin, and Penny (John) Klavonick. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
