Sandra Murrman Obituary

Sandra Bush Murrman, 82, born July 8, 1941, to Robert Bush and Evelyn (Koontz) Bush, ascended into heaven and into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024. Francis P. Murrman, her husband, best friend, love of her life, and soul mate, adored and cared for her to her last moments. One could only be so blessed to have had the love and admiration they had, as well as the strong, unbreakable bond that God had created between them for 64 glorious years. Her loving husband has often referred to her as one of the kindest souls. Sandy was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker to four children, Susan Garaventa, Fran R. Murrman, Kim Pasquino and Mark Murrman. She was an outstanding and caring grandmother to her 10 grandchildren, always giving and forever nurturing. She is also survived by Susan's husband, Anthony; Kim's husband, Joseph; and Fran's fiance, Kelly Nestico. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael. Sandy was often referred to by her peers as the sweetest and most beautiful girl in Jeannette. She was a high school majorette and a true friend to all. Frequently called "Honey Bunny" by husband, Fran, she was a passionate lover of bunnies, Schnauzers and chubby spring chickadees; one of her favorite activities was nature watching from the home's back porch window. Sandra was a gifted florist, interior decorator and business owner of "The Country Farm House" in Greensburg for more than 20 years, with partner and close friend, Marlene Davis. She had a magnificent eye for quality pieces and inspired others with her natural ability of making a house a home. Sandra was a prime example of Christ elegance, and never failed to leave those around her touched by her class and grace. While we are thankful for the support of loved ones, we are requesting that all services be private. Entombment was in Mary, Mother of Mercy Mausoleum at St. Vincent. Sandra's family has entrusted her care to the PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., Greensburg. For online condolences / directions, visit us at pantalone.com. Natale N. Pantalone, supervisor.

As my mother in law, Sandy was 2nd to none. She was the most precious, loving person that I was able to share my life with. Her love is all around us.

Dear Fran: My deeply felt condolences. Also, perhaps an odd thing to say after a death: my congratulations to you and Sandra for finding each other and for cultivating the rich virtues in one another. And to your children: what a blessing to have your mother and father. Jack Halligan, SVP 1957.
