Stephen M. Davis

Stephen Michael Davis, 63, of Murrysville, surrounded by his family, peacefully passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022. He was the beloved husband of 35 years of Elizabeth "Beth" Williams Davis; and loving father of Benjamin Stephen Davis (Kaitlyn). Steve was the son of Wilma "JiJi" Gould Davis and the late Roger Wesley Davis; brother to Roger "Wes" Davis Jr. (Normie); brother-in-law to Lee R. Williams (Karen), Daniel L. Williams (Micki), Ruth E. Williams Butker (Rick) and the late Richard R. Williams; and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Steve was raised in Forest Hills, where he graduated in 1977 from Churchill Area High School. He graduated with a B.S. degree in sales and marketing from Clarion University, where he played baseball and was a brother in the fraternity of TKE. He recently retired from Highland Tire. Growing up, Steve and his brother played Little League baseball. He relished his longtime friends from high school and college; always looking forward to their reunions. Steve enjoyed the beach and watching sports on TV. He especially enjoyed going to Steelers watch parties at his friend's home. Steve enjoyed helping with Ben's Boy Scout troop golf badge and Little League team. Ben and Kaitlyn were Steve's source of pride and joy. Steve will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, Steve had expressed he would prefer donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101, 800-321-3441. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022. A memorial service will follow at noon at the FINDLAY C. WYLIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, 15235.
