Charles Lofstrom Obituary

Charles D. Lofstrom, 85, of Saltsburg, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1939, in McKeesport, a son of the late Charles H. and Doris E. (Ward) Lofstrom. Charles was the owner of Laurel Frame and Unibody. Charles had a love for the Lord and was a member of Alpha Ministries. He also had a love for drag racing, particularly Mopar cars, going to the rodeo, and his fishing trips to Gowganda Lake in Canada. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky and Louis Lofstrom, and his sister, Rosie Kalkbrenner. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra J. (Campbell) Lofstrom; nine children, Lisa Baum (Daniel), Ricky Lofstrom (Amy), Natalie Landau (Tony), Robert Lofstrom (Bobbi), Charlie Lofstrom, Joshua Lofstrom (Elizabeth), Joel Lofstrom, Michelle Lofstrom, and Lydia Lofstrom; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Jeanie Rotharmel (Jim). Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug, 13, 2025, at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at noon Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Hospodar officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. www.bachafh.com
