William K. Alter

William K. Alter, 63, of Plum Boro, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2021. Beloved husband of 43 years to Cheryll Alter; loving father of Melanie, William Jr., Kelly, Keith and Amy Alter; adoring grandfather of Mikaila, Christian, Ava, Kole, Ella, Reagan, Elliott, William III and Georgeianna; son of the late George and Mary Alter; brother of Elaine (Bob) Jones, George (Dawn) Alter, the late Beverly Hunter and the late Sandy (Jackie surviving) Kier. William was the general manager of Golden Dawn Supermarket in New Kensington, where he has been employed for over 40 years. William enjoyed spending all time he could with his family, playing with his grandchildren and gathering for big family dinners. Family was always most important to him.
