I was shocked to learn just yesterday of Bill´s passing and want to send my deepest condolences to James and Joe and their families for their loss.
Bill and I (sometimes joined by our sons) played golf together quite often at Cloverleaf golf course. We would go to the course well before sunrise to put our bags in line for teeing off since that course did not have tee time reservations.
Then we would enjoy breakfast together at the course waiting for our turn to golf.
Bill taught me and my son, Brad, a technique to use on very fast, downhill putts which I still use and just recently passed it on to my grandson.
Mentally I thank Bill every time I use that technique.
He was a very kind person and always a joy to be around. He will be remembered and missed by so many of us.

Bill was loved by all who met him. We loved going on our Beta trips with him and
Ellen. Here are a few picks from our last two trips. RIP Bill you will be missed.
