Alan Cleveland Obituary

Alan Eugene Cleveland, 59, of Gilpin Township, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, in his residence. A son of the late Roberta Cleveland and Earl Waters, he was born Jan. 12, 1966, in Harrisburg. Alan had been a self-employed licensed barber. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Alan enjoyed most spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and having family cookouts. He is survived by his significant other of 27 years, Marcella Blumeraitis of Gilpin Township; six children, Jordan Johnson (Denise) of Vandergrift, Alan Johnson (Tabitha) of Apollo, Alize Cleveland of Gilpin Township, Marcus Cleveland of Gilpin Township, Vanessa Johnson of Apollo, and Marcedez Springer (Dillon) of Leechburg; ten grandchildren; and siblings, Bryan, Kenyatta, and Dawn Cleveland, all of Harrisburg. All arrangements are private and have been entrusted to CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. I worked with Alan at Salvation Army and found
him to be kind and helpful toward his co-workers.
I enjoyed working with him and respected the
fact that he "biked" to work. I was so sorry to read
of his untimely passing. May your many memories sustain you during your time of grief.
