Ashley Diana Gentile-Wing, 22, of New Kensington, died Sunday, March 6, 2022, from injuries received from a vehicle accident in Naples, Maine. She was born Sept. 23, 1999, in DeLand, Fla., to Roger P. Wing Jr., of Gainesville, Va., and Diana L. Gentile, of New Kensington; and was a lifelong resident of New Kensington. Ashley was a graduate of Oakland Catholic High School and was attending Penn College of Technology, Williamsport. She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, and loved horseback riding, traveling, exploring and spending time with family and friends. Ashley was intelligent, witty, caring, fearless and had the warmest of hearts. She always made everyone around her smile. She leaves behind an adoring family and innumerable friends and loved ones who miss her dearly, and she was taken too soon. We will miss her with all of our hearts. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepmother, Jennifer Wing; stepbrother, Robby Schini, of Towson, Md.; maternal grandmother, Diana T. Gentile, of New Kensington; and paternal grandmother, Dottie Zarkowsky. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Michael Gentile. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St., where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by Christian funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Church. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Monroeville.
