Barbara A. Brandt, 78, of Youngwood, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. She was born on Feb. 25, 1947, in Connellsville, the daughter of the late Walter and the late Marguerite (Earnestie) Moore. Barbara was Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood, where she sang in the choir for 50 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, drawing, and spending time with her beloved family. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James Brandt; her children, Jason Brandt, and his wife, Annie, of Latrobe, Amy Ulery, and her husband, Brian, of Selinsgrove, and Pam Heatley, and her husband, Mike, of Greensburg; her beloved grandchildren, Kaylin Heatley (Mason Kemerer), McKenna Ulery, Julie Heatley, Elise Brandt, and Bodie Brandt; and her great-grandchild, Lillie Kemerer. Barbara is also survived by her siblings, Walt Moore (Betty), of Greensburg, David Moore (Joyce), of Scottdale, and Nancy Noel (Denny), of Jeannette. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Barabara's life will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Holy Cross Church, 711 Depot St., Youngwood.
