Barbara Ann Pyska, 86, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Schwenk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Pyska; and her sister, Elmira (Earl) Van Norman. She loved cooking, baking and playing cards, but she especially loved spending time with her family. She worked at Macs Village Shop and Handi Food Mart. She is survived by her son, Mike (Debra) Pyska, of Casper, Wyo.; her daughter, Pamela Pyska, of Springdale; grandchildren, Edmund and Emily Pyska, of Casper, Wyo.; nieces and nephews, especially Jamie Reitz, Sue Ann Wencil and their families; and her dear friends, Nancy Kronnewetter, Cathy Brady and John Brunner. Because of the covid-19 pandemic, a private service will be held. Services are entrusted to the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME INC., Robert P. Karish, supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068. A special thank you to Allegheny Health Network Hospice.
