Barbara A. Trisch

Barbara Ann Trisch, 68, of Rankin, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024. Beloved sister of William (Lita) Trisch and Mike (Carrie) Trisch. Treasured aunt of Melissa (Ian Mikula) Trisch, John D. Flaherty, Alex (Frency) Ramos, Leoniza (Darren) Merritt Nollie, and Billy (Holly) Trisch. Cherished great-aunt to many great-nieces and nephews. Barb's memory will live on through her family, friends, and the many people who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alberta Trisch. As well as her sisters Catherine (Trisch) Flaherty and Ruth (Trisch) Drabik. Barb was a longtime employee of the UPMC hospital system in Oakland, from which she retired several years ago. She was also a beloved local Girl Scouts of America leader for many years. Barb enjoyed many hobbies, including crafts and various plants. She had a green thumb and grew many flowers, while bringing any plant that needed TLC back to life. An avid gambler, she loved her scratch-offs and trips to the casino. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch scratching her tickets and enjoying the view of the waterfall at Mary's Vine. Barb was an animal lover, and the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to an animal shelter of your choosing in Barb's name. Service Private, No Visitation.
