Bonnie L. Altman

1942 - 2025

Bonnie L. Altman, 83, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at her daughter's home in Scottdale. She was born June 26, 1942, in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Seber) Chew. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Greensburg, and a council member of the SW PA Women of the ELCA. Bonnie was a founding member of Open Doors for the Handicapped and enjoyed going to concerts and events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerry M. Altman. She is survived by her son, Eric H. Altman (Kathy) of Irwin; her daughter, Connie E. Brinker (Chris) of Scottdale; three grandchildren, Joshua Altman, Joshua, and Marzanna Brinker; her sister, Patricia Garvin (Richard) of Martinsburg, WV; brother-in-law, Jeff Altman (Deb); sister-in-law, Joyce Harper; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Fairfield Dr., Greensburg (West Point), with The Rev. Paul M. Gruesu officiating.
