She was born July 25, 1937, in Slate Lick, South Buffalo, and lived in Corning, N.Y., Ford City, Huntsville, Ala., before moving to Boiling Springs in 1972. She also resided in China before returning to Boiling Springs. Mrs. Goldinger was a bookkeeper at Armstrong County Trust, Kittanning, People's Bank of Ford City, and Pittsburgh Plate Glass Industries, Ford City. She was a member of Letort United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County Group Farm Women, where she was past recording secretary and president, and Cumberland Valley Band Boosters. Mrs. Goldinger was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, a Cub Scout den mother, a treasurer and Sunday school teacher at McVille United Methodist Church, a room mother at various elementary schools, a teacher's aid, the State Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Farm Women, and delivered Meals-on-Wheels. Mrs. Goldinger enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, counted cross stitch and traveling throughout Asia and Australia. Survivors include her husband, John Goldinger; a son, Philip A. Goldinger of New Cumberland; two daughters, Mrs. Shelley (David) Fackler of Bainbridge and Shelia Goldinger of Harrisburg; a brother, Charles G. Jack of Cadogan; and a sister, Mrs. Joyce (Paul) Shaner of Kittanning. She also is survived by six grandchildren, Sarah, Adam and Emily Fackler and Sean, Ian and Becca Goldinger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles N. and Bessie E. Guthrie Jack. Friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today BAUER FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St. Carlisle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Letort United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Terry Albright, the Rev. Chris E. Renner and the Rev. William Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Middlesex.
