Charles R. Gibson

Charles R. Gibson, 90, of Pitcairn, formerly of Monroeville passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Mary L. (Scaglione) Gibson. Loving father of Deborah (Chris Werder) Gibson, Charles (Joan) Gibson Jr., and Frank (Shari) Gibson; adored grandfather of Charles (Michele) Gibson III, Erin (Eric) Sankner, Paul (Rachel) Gibson, Garret (Jodi) Gibson, Trevor (Leah) Gibson, Alanna (Anthony) Uberti, & Marissa Gibson; great-grandfather of Anthony, Riley, Aimee, Nora, Evelyn, Andrew, Penelope, Antonella, Willow, & Cecilia; brother of Betty (Joe) Merz and the late John Gibson and Jean Donkin. Chuck was a well-known entrepreneur in the Pittsburgh area having started multiple businesses throughout his career. Along with his wife Mary, he made his ServiceMaster business one of the largest cleaning franchises in the United States. Chuck will always be remembered as a very giving person who loved his family. Family and friends will be received Thursday, December 12, 2024, 3-7 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC.
