Constance L. Geahry

1939 - 2025

Constance L. Geahry, 86, of West Deer Township, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, at Allegheny Health Network, Wexford, following a two-month illness. She was born July 5, 1939, in Pittsburgh, to the late Maynard and Thelma (Wood) Bushnell. Constance lived the past 40 years in West Deer Township. She was an L.P.N. for 18 years at Harmar Rehab Center. Constance was a 1957 graduate of Tarentum High School. She was of the Protestant faith and sang and played music about her faith and was a volunteer at her church. Constance enjoyed taking trips to Florida and California to visit family as well as spending time with local relatives and her Bible study group. She loved feeding the birds, camping and traveling in her motorhome, watching "Andy Griffith", and playing games. Survivors include her children, Michael Sadecky, of New Kensington, Richard Sadecky, of Norco, CA, Jay (Lori) Sadecky, of Clermont, FL, and Kathryn (Bernard) McNally, of Cranberry Township; seven grandchildren, Joel, Matthew, and Nick Sadecky, Alexis (Robert) Lyons, Steven (Meika) Sadecky, Indiana (Andrew) Iriana, and Sabrina Sadecky; and two great-grandchildren, Miles Sadecky and Henry Lyons. Also surviving are her brother, the Rev. David (Anne) Bushnell of Lancaster; and her former husband, Joseph R. (Shirley) Sadecky, of Clermont, FL. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Geahry, in 2010; grandson, Lee Sadecky; and two sisters, Elizabeth Gustafson and Kathryn Pappafava. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at DUSTER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, with her brother, the Rev.
