Debra Bisaha Obituary

Debra Ann "Debbie" Bisaha, 62, of Apollo, passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, due to covid-19. She was born June 3, 1959, in Pittsburgh, at Magee Women's Hospital. Debbie was created by God with a tender heart overflowing with His love. She spread that love everywhere she went and received love in return from all who met her. She loved the Lord and loved to attend church, church activities and Bible studies with her mom. Debbie had a tremendous love for her only brother, Rick Kunkle, his wife, Amy, and their son, Cameron. She had an extremely close relationship with her beloved Uncle Tom Allen as well. Debbie attended Apollo Elementary School and was privately tutored as her health declined. She was a member of the "Young Adult Leisure Group" for the handicapped. They bowled, had banquets and dances and took short trips. Debbie was a "girly girl" and loved to shop for pretty clothes and shoes to match. She loved to eat out at restaurants; three of her favorites were Creekside Diner, Cracker Barrel and Red Lobster. She spent much time looking at and sorting her huge collections of pictures and greeting cards, reading magazines and watching game shows on TV. She and her mom loved to travel before her health began to decline. Debbie is survived by her mother, Sandra (Allen) Kunkle; brother, Rick Kunkle, his wife, Amy, and their son, Cameron, who she loved dearly; uncles and aunts, Tom Allen, Tom Bisaha, Judy (Ron) Andring, Don (Marion) Kunkle, Donna Hankey and Phyllis (Tom) Popp; her stepmother, Jean Bisaha; stepsister, Pam Kiro; aunt, Gloria Allen; and cousins, Tommi Allen, Suzy (Stuart) Cooper, Mike (Beth) Allen Burton, Lee Ann (Robert) Allen Llamas, Robin Bisaha and Ranee Bisaha Quinn. Debbie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Ethel Allen; paternal grandparents, Adam Bisaha Sr. and grandmother, Kate Klingensmith; her stepfather, Gerald (Jerry) Kunkle; uncle, Robert Allen; her biological father, Adam Bisaha Jr.; uncle, Jeff Bisaha; aunt, Judy Bisaha; cousin, Tommy Bisaha; and uncle, Joe Hankey. All services were private and were entrusted to the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., Apollo. Memorial contributions may be made in Debbie's memory to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. To send an online condolence to the family, please visit curranfuneralhome.com.

Debbie was one of the nicest, kindest young women I have ever known. I look forward to seeing her in heaven and looking at her pictures and hugging her again.
