Denise S. Deets

1963 - 2023

Denise S. Deets, 60, of Freeport (Armstrong County), passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at the home of her sister, in Ross Township, with her family by her side. She was born July 28, 1963, in Pittsburgh, to Franziska (Murtzluft) Rudolf, of Allison Park, and the late John George Deets. Denise proudly worked many years as a nurse's aide, devoting her time and effort to the steadfast care of her patients. She extended this mindset of caring to friends and strangers alike and put the needs of others before her own. Denise also valued the simple things in life, spending her free time with her fellow members of the Eagles and the VFW, going out to eat and listening to music she loved. Denise leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Daniel A. "Dan" Paul, of Allison Park; her daughter, Sarah (Anthony Rees) Paul, of Greentree; her sisters, Barbara (Jeff Blendinger) Myrla, of Ross Township, and Alice Deets, of Gibsonia; and her brothers, John Deets, of Allison Park, and Lawrence (Kristie) "Larry" Deets, of Fox Chapel. She was preceded in death by her father mentioned above, her nephew, Robert "Robbie" Roberts, and her stepfather, Arthur Rudolf. Family and friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, and from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral ceremonies at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, in the DENNIS J.
