Diane Navolio Obituary

Diane E. (Diller) Navolio, 61, formerly of Brackenridge, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born July 2, 1951, in Harrison Township, a daughter of the late Wilbert G. Diller Sr. and Mary Etta (Maeder) Diller. Diane had lived in Center Township since 2005 and prior to that most of her life in Brackenridge. She was a private duty home health care aide in Harrison Township area for many years. She was a member of Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church and a 1968 graduate of Highlands High School. Diane enjoyed taking care of her family and going on family vacations. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Robert J. Navolio Sr.; her children, Jason R. Navolio, of Bayonne, N.J., and Lisa Diane (Matthew) Flaus, of Claysville; a granddaughter, Emily Diane Flaus; her stepchildren, Robert J. Navolio Jr., of Ford City, and Jodi Lynn Navolio, of New Castle; stepgranddaughter, Sarah Pilgrim, of New Castle; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Susan L. (Scott E.) Brink, of Freeport. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbert Diller Jr. and Larry Diller. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-224-1526, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with her pastor, the Rev.
