Born July 25, 1929, she lived in Washington Township the past 20 years and previously resided in Lower Burrell.
Mrs. Thompson was a packer and inspector for Glenshaw Glass and had previously been a telephone operator for Bell Telephone.
She was a member of AARP and enjoyed photography, shopping, country music and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include a sister, Helen W. Beldham of Lower Burrell; 2 grandchildren, Ian and Sarah Daugherty; 2 stepsons, Randy (Judy) Thompson of Manassas, Va., and Jerry (Debra) Thompson of Allison Park; a stepgranddaughter, Briana Thompson; and several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Thompson; her parents, Herbert S. and Bertha G. Kline Wise; a brother, David J. Wise; and a sister, Jerry Brown Rogers.
Friends will be received Thurs. from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, Lower Burrell, where funeral services will be Fri. at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Joseph J. Boomhower. Burial will be private.
