Mary Lynn Tabacek

Mary Lynn Tabacek, 68, of Penn Hills, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, in her home. She was born in New Kensington to Joseph and Antoinette (Callahan) Tabacek. Mary Lynn was a 1975 graduate of St. Joseph High School and a 1979 graduate of Slippery Rock State University. She was currently employed with the food services department of Duquesne University. She was an avid Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins fan and loved animals, especially her pet dogs, cats, and birds throughout the years. Mary Lynn had a generous heart and dearly loved her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mary Lynn is survived by her siblings, Terri (Robert) Dubnicay of New Kensington, Joan Tabacek of Natrona Heights, and Susan (John) Costantino of Hamilton, OH. She is also survived by her nephews, Rick Horzempa of New Kensington and Robert (Anastasia) Dubnicay of Pittsburgh; great-nephew, Oscar Dubnicay; and her beloved dog, Dahlia.
