Elizabeth A. Faith

1928 - 2016

Elizabeth A. Faith, 87, of Harmar Township, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at her residence. She was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Pittsburgh, to the late Patrick and Elizabeth Kunkle Driscoll and lived 65 years in this area. She was formerly employed for 30 years at the Westinghouse Plant in Cheswick and was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Springdale, where she was active in Bible Study. Betty made Rosary's and had a statue collection of Saints and other church figures. Survivors include: five sons, David T. Faith, Richard C. Faith, Gregory D. Faith, Charles A. Faith and Clair W. (Karen) Faith; three daughters, Louise (David) Madden, Cindy (David Cajka) Minihan and Ann M. (Harry) Mangol; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair H. Faith; one son, Michael J. Faith; one daughter Patricia Drennen; a sister, Delores Fox; and three brothers, Robert, George and James Driscoll.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, in the CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pittsburgh St., and Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Alphonsus Church with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville.
