Elizabeth Liotta Obituary

Elizabeth T. "Bette" Liotta, of New Kensington, died Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was born in Natrona, daughter of the late Walter Thomas and Pauline (Chapek) Sloma. She was the wife of the late Samuel R. Liotta, who died in 1989. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Sloma. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, past president of the Christian Mothers, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She is survived by a son, Dennis (Beth) Liotta, of Greensburg; daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Bowman, of Marshall Township; three grandsons, Dennis S. Liotta, David Liotta and Christopher Bowman. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 5th Ave., Arnold, PA 15068, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner, supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
