Eva M. Artman Raith

Eva M. Artman Raith, 87, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, at her residence. Eva was born in the Pegtown section of Apollo, on Feb. 20, 1938, a daughter of the late Stella (Mineski) and Samuel J. McCain. She was the widow of William E. Artman Sr., who passed away in 2009. She was a notary public in Sarver for 30 years. Eva enjoyed gardening, playing cards, bingo, fishing, and hunting. Eva is survived by her husband of five years, Gerald Raith; her son, William (Brenda) Artman Jr., of Prospect; and three daughters, Belinda Artman, of Sarver; Gena (Chris) Artman, of Cabot; and Lori (Tom) Artman, of Apollo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lisa Janoski; brothers, Samuel J. McCain Jr. and George E. McCain; and her sister, Helen Santy. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, in REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport.
