Frances M. Pacak

1937 - 2025

Frances Mary Pacak, 88, of Monessen, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Charleroi, the daughter of John and Lucia Nicastro. Frances was a 1955 graduate of Monessen High School, where she was a Crooning Belle in the Glee Club. She retired in May of 2020, after twenty five years of employment as the child care receptionist at SPHS, where she was lovingly known to all as "Miss Fran". She loved to cook and spend time with her cats, Bella and Miss Lilly. She enjoyed playing games on her phone especially solitaire and traveling to the ocean and Ohio Pyle. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Christine) Pacak of Mt. Morris; and daughter, Patricia (Nick) Senich of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., in the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 12:00 p.m..
