Grace M. Lucas

1934 - 2024

Grace M. Lucas, 89, formerly of Apollo, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Ross Memory Meadows. She was born Dec. 29, 1934, in Murrysville, daughter of the late Clinton and Sara (Greer) Lott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick 'Fred' Lucas Jr; and a brother-in-law, Gene Dawes. Grace was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church and sang in the choir for many years. She loved camping and spending time with her family and friends. Grace is survived by four children, James (Patricia) Lucas, Sandra (John) Thompson, Karen (James) Brinker, Robert (Nancy) Lucas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Sara Dawes; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 3330 Logan Ferry Road, Murrysville, PA 15668. Visitation was from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at HART FUNERAL HOME, INC. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the funeral home.
