Grace H. Mattu

Grace H. (Rimel) Mattu, 86, of Bethel Township, formerly of Leechburg, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. She was born June 17, 1921. She was a homemaker and member of the Kiski Valley C.B.ers. She is survived by three sons, Charles J. (Loretta) Mattu, of Bethel Township, John (Jayne) Mattu Jr., of Freeport, and Michael F. Mattu, of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Alma Zabinski and Florence Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mattu, on April 8, 1983; her parents, William A. and Martha Galbraith Rimel; five brothers, Robert, Charles, Raymond, James and Lester; and three sisters, Margaret Ebbert, Dorothy Olson and Ruth Stegner. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
