Ilo Tyger Obituary

Ilo E. Tyger, 87, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in New Kensington, to Samuel and LaVeta (MacTavish) Snyder, was a Penn Hills High School graduate and a Lower Burrell resident since 1949. Mrs. Tyger retired from Forbes Regional Health System in 1997 after 21 years of service. Survivors include her son, Wayne H. (Irene) Tyger, of Waterford, Wis., Marsha E. Freshwater, of Lower Burrell, and Kerby L. (Sue) Tyger, of Oregon, Ohio; four grandchildren, Matthew (Jenny) Tyger, Erik (Bethel) Tyger, Luke Tyger and Sarah (Brian) Smith; seven great-grandchildren; a niece, Shirley Snyder; and two nephews Zane (Marilyn) Snyder and Samuel (Debbie) Snyder. Besides her parents, two brothers preceded her in death: Kerby Snyder, who died in childhood, and Zane Snyder. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date to be announced. ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., of New Kensington, was entrusted with the arrangements.
