Irene G. Shremshock

Irene G. Papik Shremshock, of Leechburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, in Quality Life Services. She was born in Springdale to the late Ferdinand and Veronika Sutarik Papik, and was a lifelong resident of the local area. She worked in the office at PPG for 20 years doing clerical, payroll and switchboard work, among other things. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, and of the AARP. Mrs. Shremshock enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles. She was a graduate of Arnold High School and attended the Duff's Business School for two years. She is survived by her sister, Mary Papik, of Cheswick. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Shremshock; her three brothers, Frank, Clement and Edward Papik; and sisters, Anne Papik and Josephine H. Balogh.
