James Patrick Obituary

James Lee Patrick, 75, of Sarver, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends, on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. Born Dec. 12, 1939, in Tarentum, he was a son of the late William W. and Annabelle (McCollum) Patrick. Jim was a 1957 graduate of Freeport High School. He was a 12-year Air Force veteran, having served in Vietnam. He worked at PPG Paint. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Freeport, the VFW in Freeport and the American Legion in Harrisville. Jim enjoyed camping, woodworking and mowing his grass. He hated dandelions. Jim loved those grandkids. Surviving are his loving wife, JoAnn (Frantz) Patrick, whom he married June 11, 1960; his son, Shawn (Julie) Patrick, of Cabot; his daughter, Debra Jo Bair, of Butler; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Kathleen, William, Anna Jane, Matthew, Heather, Ryan and Laura; and his brother, Greg (Darlene) Patrick, of Greenville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Patrick; brother, William E. Patrick; and sister, Margaret Milliron. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at the FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, in the funeral home with the Rev. David Caves officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of Freeport. http://www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
