Jessica L. Hardik-Stewart, 50, of Grapeville (formerly of Scottdale), passed away at 1:02 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at her residence. Jessica was born on Sept. 12, 1974, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Deborah L. (Malik) Mellinger and the late Andrew M. Hardik Jr., who passed away in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Hillary Daniels and Megan Hardik. Jessica was a devoted daughter, spouse, mother, and grandmother. She graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 1992, and was employed in the maintenance and cleaning industry. Jessica enjoyed Diamond Art, Garfield, and her two pet felines, Zeni and Prissy. Jessica will be sadly missed by her loving family: her spouse of 20 years, Shane Stewart of Grapeville; her mother, Deborah (Malik) Mellinger, and her husband, George, of Norvelt; her son, Caleb Hardik, and his wife, Kelly, and their son, Ryan Hardik, of Everson; her brother, Andrew M. Hardik III, and his wife, Amanda, of Mt. Pleasant; her niece, Lilly Hardik; and her three nephews, Marc Daniels Jr., Nicholas Nimick-Daniels, and Andrew M. Hardik IV.
