John Necheff Obituary

John E. Necheff, 91, of Harmar, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023. He was born July 26, 1932, to his parents, the late Steve and Mary Matula Necheff. Mr. Necheff graduated from Springdale High School, Class of 1950, and has been a longtime member of the community. He served in The Army during the Korean War. After his discharge, he was a self-employed welder until his retirement. John was a member of Mount St. Peter's Catholic Church, New Kensington, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially watching Pittsburgh Pirates games with his family. Surviving him is daughters, Mary Ellen (Darren) Smith, of Cheswick, and Amy (Todd) Armbrust, of Cheswick; two grandchildren, Tyler and Travis Smith. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Donna (Simpson) Necheff; one brother, Steve Necheff; and two sisters, Helen and Amy Necheff. The visitation is private for his immediate family and the burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Heritage Hospice. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
